Develop aircraft aerodynamic simulation models with Bombardier in BAN, applying MATLAB, Simulink, data analysis, and programming during day shifts.
As part of Aerospace Canada’s Simulation team, you will support Bombardier aircraft programs through flight dynamics and systems simulation. Your work will serve design, development, testing, certification, in-service investigations, and engineering or training simulators. The team also maintains the Reconfigurable Engineering Flight Simulator.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain flight dynamics models in MATLAB/Simulink
Build aerodynamic models from CFD, wind tunnel, empirical, and flight test data
Analyze and reconcile multiple data sources
Validate models for representativity and engineering requirements
Document methodologies, assumptions, results, and technical conclusions
Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering
Understanding of flight mechanics, stability, control, and control surfaces
Experience developing and debugging code
MATLAB experience; Simulink experience is an asset
Transparent English communication and disciplined technical documentation
Apply analytical modeling, aerodynamic knowledge, and programming skills to advance Bombardier aircraft simulation capabilities in BAN.
