This senior electrical engineering position supports Barr’s Canadian electrical group across industrial processing, power, mining, and municipal facilities. You will integrate process, mechanical, and control requirements into comprehensive electrical systems. The work combines design, project management, technical leadership, staff mentoring, and client service.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare electrical plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
Design power and controls from the ground up
Define proposal scopes, deliverables, schedules, and budgets
Lead project planning,



coordination, and execution
Provide technical leadership and mentor less-experienced staff
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
At least 10 years of related design experience
Qualified Engineer license in a United States or Canadian jurisdiction
Microsoft Office proficiency
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Bring electrical design, project leadership, and client-service expertise to Barr’s hybrid Canadian engineering team.
