This senior leadership position reports to the Vice President of Engineering and directs interlinked Process and System Engineering disciplines. You will establish technical standards, strengthen governance, support project delivery, and align capabilities with long-term business objectives. The function includes talent development, regulatory compliance, software oversight, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Define discipline standards, procedures, design guides, and best practices
Oversee governance, technical escalation, and evidence-based decision-making
Drive regulatory compliance, design assurance, and continuous improvement




Lead Functional Managers, Directors, and Subject Matter Experts
Develop capability, succession, training, and resource plans
Requirements: Engineering or Science degree; advanced degree preferred
Skilled Engineer registration with PEO or equivalent
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
Experience leading significant engineering departments and multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of nuclear safety, CANDU technology, and regulatory requirements
Shape nuclear engineering standards, talent, governance, and delivery excellence as AtkinsRéalis’s senior process and systems leader.
