As a recognized industry expert, you will provide strategic direction and senior technical oversight for WSP’s Mine Waste practice. Your work spans tailings stewardship, dam safety, sustainable mine development, and mine waste management. You will influence client decisions, strengthen technical reputation, and mentor future leaders.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as senior technical authority for tailings and mine waste facilities
Lead planning, design, review, and optimization of storage facilities
Act as Engineer of Record or Independent Technical Reviewer
Advise clients on dam safety, risk, compliance, and governance
Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders across the organization
Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
Skilled Engineer designation
Background in geotechnical, civil, geological, or related engineering
Lead WSP’s mine waste practice through tailings expertise, dam safety oversight, client advice, and technical leadership.
