Hydro Tech seeks a technically strong senior engineer for its Bearings division. The role covers bearing design, production support, technical oversight, supplier coordination, and quality processes. You will help deliver high-performance bearing systems for hydroelectric and industrial projects across Canada and the United States.
Key Responsibilities: Design and review bearing drawings before customer release
Research bearing performance and system feasibility
Prepare analysis, inspection, and failure investigation reports
Support manufacturing shops, testing,
and quality assurance
Coordinate specifications and drawings with suppliers
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or engineering design
Five to ten-plus years of bearing design experience
Solid plain or hydrodynamic bearing design experience
Proficiency with SolidWorks or AutoCAD
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Apply bearing design, CAD, and engineering judgment to support Hydro Tech projects and high-performance systems.
