Metallurgy expertise meets multidisciplinary engineering at WSP, supporting processing plants and facility upgrades from Greater Toronto Area or Northern Ontario offices.
As a Senior Metallurgical Engineer in WSP’s ERI Metals and Mining group, you will plan and execute studies and detailed engineering. Your work includes mass balances, process flow diagrams, equipment selection, and laboratory testing. You will also support technical reports, cost estimates, and engineering documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Identify client needs and contribute to proposals
Establish design criteria and develop mass balances
Define process flows and select process equipment
Oversee laboratory testing and analyze resulting data
Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and tender packages
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering
15+ years of relevant metallurgical process experience
Current P.ENG license
Robust initiative, attention to detail, and rigorous approach
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Apply metallurgical engineering, process design, and technical leadership to WSP studies and facility projects across metals and mining.
