At Humanoid, apply robotics hardware testing and actuator characterization to advance HMND‑01 in real industrial environments. Help make humanoid systems measurable and integration-ready.
As a Senior Test and Validation Engineer, you will mature hardware subsystems through calibration, tuning, characterization, and modeling. Your work spans actuators, grippers, robotic hands, sensors, and integrated assemblies. Collaboration includes mechanical design, firmware, controls, manufacturing, and system integration teams.
Key Responsibilities: Design and execute tests for actuators, mechanisms, grippers, and robotic hands
Build fixtures and rigs for energetic and endurance testing
Calibrate sensors and tune current, velocity, and position control loops
Develop automated systems validating motor performance, force,
and safety limits
Analyze results and drive engineering feedback loops
Requirements: Master’s or PhD in engineering, robotics, or related field
5+ years in robotic hardware, controls, characterization, or commissioning
Experience with motors, actuators, encoders, force/torque sensors, and instrumentation
Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, or C++ using object-oriented programming
Understanding of safety testing, FMEA, and reliability analysis
Bring actuator testing, calibration, modeling, and troubleshooting expertise to Humanoid’s HMND‑01 robotics platform.
