The Fleet Manager provides hands-on leadership within APA’s marine operations. This role combines marine engineering or operations expertise with vessel maintenance, contractor coordination, and asset management. You will serve as a key contact for crews, contractors, and internal stakeholders while supporting secure, reliable fleet performance.
Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to vessel crews
Coordinate fleet maintenance and operational readiness activities
Plan vessel dry docks, inspections, and repair programs
Resolve issues with contractors and internal stakeholders
Reinforce safe work practices and operational procedures
Requirements: Marine engineering certification preferred
Experience supporting vessel operations or maintenance programs
Knowledge of marine safety and regulatory requirements
Experience coordinating contractors and technical projects
Willingness to travel throughout Atlantic Canada
