As a Principal Power System Engineer, you will support the Grid Technology Centre of Excellence. Analyze compliance, manage complex connection studies, and guide integration for WTG, BESS, Hydrogen, wind farm, and hybrid projects. Your work covers Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret grid codes and grid certification requirements
Assess product and electrical model compliance
Lead Steady State, RMS, EMT, and Power Quality studies
Provide strategic direction for grid integration solutions
Collaborate with regulators, industry partners, and stakeholders
Requirements: Master's degree in electrical power engineering
Minimum seven years in grid connection engineering
Expertise in power system stability, analysis, and grid codes
Experience with PowerFactory, PSSe, PSCAD, and Python
Ability to navigate regulatory and compliance challenges
Apply advanced grid studies, regulatory knowledge, and technical leadership to Envision Energy’s renewable energy integration work.
