Shape Intact Financial Corporation’s government relations strategy through policy analysis, advocacy, and stakeholder relationships in a hybrid work model.
As Manager, Government Relations, you will support federal and provincial advocacy across Canada. You will collaborate with Legal, Climate, Social Impact/ESG, Communications, and business teams. Your work will help maintain IFC’s profile, reputation, and influence with governments, regulators, associations, and community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Develop government relations strategies aligned with IFC business objectives
Manage federal and provincial advocacy efforts
Monitor public policy and political issues affecting key markets
Advise senior leaders and business units on relevant issues
Maintain relationships with government decision makers and stakeholder groups
Requirements: Minimum eight years government relations or public affairs experience
Minimum five years leading or managing direct reports
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Post-secondary education in Political Science or related field
Ability to lobby federally is an asset
