This Specialist Engineer serves as a technical leader and subject matter expert for CANDU Fuel Channels. The position covers engineering approaches, design modifications, technical interfaces, and complex issue resolution. It also guides engineering work across project phases.
Key Responsibilities: Lead CANDU reactor component, system, and structure design
Define engineering approaches for complex nuclear projects
Resolve critical and high-risk engineering issues
Review drawings, calculations, assessments, and analysis reports
Guide engineering work packages, progress, risks, and schedules
Requirements: Mechanical, Materials, or Nuclear Engineering degree
Skilled Engineer license in Ontario
Minimum 15 years of CANDU or ASME experience
Knowledge of stress, fatigue, fracture mechanics, and creep
Familiarity with ASME Section III and CSA N285.0
