Own accounting for Compass Datacenter’s data center portfolio in Toronto, using lease interpretation and advanced Excel to support accurate reporting.
The Senior Accountant, Data Center Operations partners with site leaders, customers, vendors, FP&A;, and accounting teams. You will apply property accounting, CAM reconciliations, general accounting, and month-end close expertise. The role supports accurate billing, recoveries, revenue recognition, and operational reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Own accounting for assigned buildings and leases
Lead CAM reconciliations and lease-based recoveries
Calculate monthly power and utility billings
Lead property month-end close and reconciliations
Produce portfolio reporting and variance narratives




Requirements: Robust lease interpretation and property accounting knowledge
Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel
Understanding of GAAP, controls, and audit documentation
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
Four to five or more years’ progressive industry accounting experience, or audit experience
Bring property accounting, CAM reconciliation, and operational reporting expertise to Compass Datacenter’s Toronto data center portfolio.
