Build camera silicon implementation skills at Qualcomm Canada ULC in Vancouver, working across RTL integration and physical design. Develop ASIC expertise through Spectra Camera projects.
This interim engineering internship supports Qualcomm’s Spectra Camera team, delivering Camera IP to Snapdragon SoCs. You will develop implementation infrastructure and integrate Camera cores across front-end design activities. The work includes synthesis, static timing analysis, formal verification, physical design, ECO workflows, scripting, and low-power flows.
Key Responsibilities: Implement Camera cores from RTL through netlist delivery
Run synthesis using physically aware implementation tools
Perform static timing and develop block-level constraints
Generate and verify ECOs for functional and timing fixes
Automate analysis workflows with scripting
Requirements: Currently pursuing a relevant engineering or computer science bachelor’s degree
Understanding of ASIC design flow and advanced technologies
Expected graduation in November 2028 or later
Availability from May or June 2027 through August or September 2028
Apply ASIC design flow knowledge, scripting, verification, and timing analysis to Qualcomm Camera implementation work in Vancouver.
