Apply aerospace loads, dynamics, and aeroelasticity expertise at Bombardier while migrating certified analysis processes to Siemens Simcenter NASTRAN.
This contract supports an experienced aerospace engineering specialist within Bombardier’s Aerospace Canada organization. The work focuses on reproducing historical certification analyses, validating equivalent Siemens workflows, documenting differences, and establishing approved replacement methodologies. Key technical areas include MSC NASTRAN, Simcenter NASTRAN, flutter, aeroservoelasticity, gust loads, and dynamic landing analyses.
Key Responsibilities: Reproduce historical loads, aeroelasticity, and agile landing analyses
Validate SOL 103, 112, 144, 145, and 146 results
Compare and document MSC and Siemens analysis differences
Update legacy DMAP workflows when required
Prepare validation reports, technical memos, and correlation studies
Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
Five-plus years in aerospace loads, dynamics, or certification analyses
Strong MSC NASTRAN and Siemens Simcenter NASTRAN experience
Experience with NASTRAN Op2, DMAP, and finite element methods
MATLAB or Python proficiency with strong technical communication
Support Bombardier’s aerospace engineering teams through rigorous loads validation, aeroelasticity analysis, and NASTRAN process migration.
