Install GPON wiring across Calgary with AFL Integria, using fiber testing and technical troubleshooting to connect residential and business customers.
As an MxU Installer, you will install inside wiring and outside plant cabling in multi-dwelling and multi-tenant properties. The work supports reliable network connections while meeting safety, productivity, and service standards. You will work with field service leadership across customer locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install fiber lines from Main Equipment Rooms to individual suites
- Place cables through aerial or underground paths
- Conduct Optical Power Meter testing on fiber connections
- Troubleshoot technical issues accurately and swiftly
- Operate power tools and maintain test equipment safely
Requirements:
- Telecommunications experience in inside or outside plant preferred
- Cabling or wiring experience preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license preferred
- Fluent English and legal entitlement to work in Canada
