As a Senior Highway Designer/Engineer, you will guide multidisciplinary teams on significant infrastructure projects. The work spans strategic client advice, technical delivery, transportation systems, and design quality. WSP’s Ontario Highway Design Team offers this role in Thunder Bay or Sudbury.
Key Responsibilities: Lead highway and drainage design technical delivery
Guide projects from concept through completion
Oversee schedules, budgets, and quality standards
Review designs for compliance and excellence
Mentor junior staff across disciplines
Requirements: Civil Engineering degree or diploma
10–20+ years of highway or roadway design experience
P. Eng or Certified Engineering Technician/Technologist designation
Design-Build or P3 project experience
Ontario environmental standards and design manual knowledge
Shape Ontario transportation projects through highway design leadership, client guidance, technical excellence, and multidisciplinary collaboration at WSP.
