Operate combo plow units on Ontario roads while applying secure snow removal practices during winter maintenance events. Miller Maintenance supports Ministry of Transportation contracts across Ontario.
As a Snow Plow Operator, you will remove snow from local roads and highways under Shift Supervisor and Patroller direction. The work includes route maps, sand and salt application rates, documentation, equipment care, routine maintenance, and minor repairs. Assigned shifts may include nights, weekends, holidays, evenings, and extended hours.
Key Responsibilities: Safely operate combo plow units during winter events
Remove snow from local roads and highways
Complete fuel, safety, and hours-of-service reports
Maintain and clean equipment between road assignments
Perform routine maintenance and minor equipment repairs
Requirements: Valid DZ or AZ license with clean abstract and CVOR
Respond to call-ins within thirty minutes
Operate loaders and perform maintenance duties
Work assigned shifts and extended winter-event hours
Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
Bring safe driving, equipment maintenance, and winter operations skills to Miller Maintenance’s Ontario highway services.
