YMCA BC seeks a Support and Inclusion Activity Leader for children ages 5-12 in its before and after school program. You will provide strength-based support, maintain safety, and promote participation, belonging, learning, and wellness. The position includes individualized care plans, positive behaviour strategies, and developmentally appropriate programming.
Key Responsibilities: Support children’s safety, engagement, participation, and overall well-being
Implement and review individualized care and support plans
Lead inclusive indoor and outdoor activities for all abilities




Maintain active supervision and meet health and safety standards
Build relationships with children, families, and program partners
Requirements: At least 19 years of age
Experience supporting children with diverse needs
Knowledge of inclusive practices and behaviour support strategies
Emergency First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Strong communication, confidentiality, and Microsoft Office skills
Bring inclusive programming, individualized support, and positive behaviour guidance to YMCA BC’s school-age children and families.
