Peel Region seeks a part time Labourer for a nine month short term contract within Public Works Waste Management. The role supports CRC, transfer station, and compost facility operations through orderly vehicle direction, waste disposal guidance, site maintenance, and resident assistance. Work occurs onsite at 395 Chrysler Drive in Brampton, with scheduled Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
Key Responsibilities: Direct vehicles and materials safely at waste facilities
Provide prompt and efficient customer service
Maintain site and building cleanliness
Load and unload supplies from trucks
Perform winter maintenance and landscaping duties
Requirements: Grade 12 education or equivalent
Six months of job related experience
Class G licence in valuable standing
Operate and maintain manual and power equipment
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Use customer service, communication, equipment operation, and mechanical aptitude to support Peel Region waste facilities in Brampton.
