Schlegel Villages seeks a Recreation Team Member for Humber Heights, a long-term care Village. The successful candidate will plan and implement programs while working with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team. Recreation or leisure studies and/or gerontology education is required.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement recreation programs
Support the resident-centered social culture
Foster relationships with residents and families
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Village team
Deliver holistic care focused on quality of life
Requirements: Enrolled in or completed recreation, leisure studies, or gerontology education
Display a caring and respectful attitude
Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Provide an acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check
Complete tuberculosis screening before starting
Bring recreation programming, respectful collaboration, and resident-focused care to Humber Heights as a Recreation Team Member.
