Protect guests and employees at Gateway Casinos as a Security Officer overseeing gaming-floor security, access control, and customer service. This temporary part-time contract lasts six months.
In this Security Officer position, you will monitor casino operations while following provincial gaming regulations, applicable laws, policies, and procedures. You will help prevent theft and fraud while maintaining a calm, comfortable environment. The role requires customer service, investigations, reporting, and First Aid response.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain a visible presence on the gaming floor
Respond quickly to guest inquiries
Control facility access and sensitive areas
Monitor alarm panels and issue keys
Write reports, logs, and conduct investigations
Requirements: At least six months of security experience
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Solid written, verbal, and analytical communication skills
Smart Serve Certification and casino operations understanding
Availability for flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
