GFL is seeking a DZ Commercial Driver to support plant operations on a shift schedule. You will collect liquid and solid hazardous wastes from customer sites, operate wide-ranging equipment, and maintain professional customer communication. The work requires independent operation while staying connected with your supervisor or dispatcher.
Key Responsibilities: Safely load, transport, and unload hazardous and non-hazardous goods
Operate vacuum, box, van trailer, and roll-off trucks
Operate forklifts, excavators, bobcats, and utility trailers
Complete transport documents and pre-trip inspections
Finish assigned routes and daily driver check-ins
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent minimum
Valid DZ Commercial Driver's License required
Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
Availability for shift work and required overtime
Mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic
Bring safe driving, equipment operation, and customer service skills to GFL's Brantford hazardous waste transportation operations.
