As a Chartwell Cook, you will prepare, cook, and plate meals according to menu guidelines. Your work supports residents’ dining experiences through accurate timing, proper temperatures, sanitation, and organized food supplies. Previous food services cooking experience and Food Handler certification are required.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and plate food following Chartwell menu guidelines
Comply with public health and safe food handling regulations
Maintain sanitary preparation areas and kitchen equipment
Serve meals on time at the correct temperature
Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies
Requirements: Previous cooking experience in food services
Food Handler certification
Effective collaboration as a team member
Transparent communication with internal and external customers
Ability to stand, lift, and carry heavy items
Bring culinary skills, sanitation knowledge, and reliable meal timing to Chartwell’s resident dining services as a Cook.
