This hands-on work includes material handling, equipment positioning, cleanup, and basic tool operations. Candidates may assist tradespersons, machine operators, assemblers, and other shop personnel while following defined procedures and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities: Drive and operate forklifts at fabrication shop job sites
Position, place, and transport equipment and materials
Inspect, clean, lubricate, and maintain forklifts
Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products
Assist tradespersons and other fabrication shop personnel
Requirements: Zero to two years related oil and gas fabrication labourer experience
Experience assisting pipefitters, welders, electricians, insulators, or painters
Mechanical aptitude
Basic hand and power tool experience is an asset
Warehousing experience is an asset
