Support residents overnight as a Personal Support Worker using compassionate care, protected transfers, and accurate electronic documentation on-site.
This part-time temporary nursing position reports to the Director of Care at Orchard Terrace Care Centre. The Personal Support Worker provides physical and personal care according to care plans. Daily work includes monitoring well-being, supporting resident safety, and documenting Activities of Daily Living. The role also includes meal assistance and communication with Registered Practical Nurses.
Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living according to care plans
Monitor well-being and report changes to Registered Practical Nurses
Document care and daily activities in electronic health records




Use safe transfers and mechanical lifts according to policies
Maintain clean, safe, and secure resident environments
Requirements: PSW certification from a minimum 600-hour program
Organizational and time-management skills
Effective oral and written communication abilities
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
Required screening, TB results, and two supervisory references
Bring compassionate resident care, safety awareness, and dependable documentation to overnight service at Orchard Terrace Care Centre.
