Operate chemical manufacturing equipment at Hexion while applying safety, quality, troubleshooting, and environmental practices. This position requires rotating shifts.
As a urea-formaldehyde resin manufacturing process operator, you will produce, test, and manufacture products within prescribed quality ranges. The work includes process control equipment, material inventory, forklift operation, and equipment inspections. You will also participate in plant safety, environmental, quality, and production programs and audits.
Key Responsibilities: Operate process control equipment during resin manufacturing
Inspect mixing containers for chemical components
Monitor and record operating conditions
Follow procedures meeting product quality standards
Maintain clean,



protected work areas and accurate inventory
Requirements: High school diploma or completed GED
Manufacturing, industrial, or chemical experience preferred
Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification
Troubleshooting, mechanical, mathematical, and computer skills
Ability to work rotating shifts and in all weather
Bring process operation, equipment troubleshooting, forklift, and safety capabilities to Hexion’s chemical manufacturing operations while maintaining quality standards.
