Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers delivering regular programs for students with autism
Support alternate programs of study for autistic students
Advocate for students within the school environment
Collaborate as a member of the school-based team
Requirements: Grade 12 completion with Dogwood Certificate
Education Assistant Certificate Program completion
POPARD program completion totaling 30 hours
Six months working with behavioral disorders
Class 5 licence, exemplary record, WHMIS, WorkSafeBC familiarity
Bring autism support, student advocacy, and cooperative education assistance to Fraser Lake Elementary Secondary with School District 91.
