Teach Lower Elementary Montessori in person at Blaisdale Montessori School, using classroom leadership and curriculum planning to guide children’s learning.
This full-time, permanent teacher position is based in Ontario Pickering, near the Toronto border. You will plan daily curriculum, implement Montessori pedagogy, observe learning, and build relationships with children and families. The schedule runs Monday to Friday, up to 40 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement the Lower Elementary program
Observe and document children’s learning
Build relationships with families and include them in learning
Write report cards independently and host parent evenings
Maintain protected, clean classroom equipment and materials
Requirements: Elementary Montessori Certification required
Lower Elementary Montessori training and Ministry documents
Experience teaching Montessori Elementary students
Strong classroom, time management, and organizational skills
Diplomatic communication and strong leadership qualities
