Operate chemical processing equipment in Welland, Ontario, using safety awareness and field-reading skills. This is full-time work on 12-hour shifts.
VERBIO Diesel Canada seeks a Process Operator for its continuous process manufacturing workplace. You will support production targets while meeting finished-product quality parameters. The work includes pumps, valves, wastewater systems, chemical transfers, and equipment care.
Key Responsibilities: Perform small equipment repairs and assist maintenance employees
Take routine field readings and diagnose facility faults
Operate facility hoists, pumps, valves, and transfer hoses
Monitor wastewater, sanitary, and storm water systems
Handle chemicals safely while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Industrial terminal experience considered an asset
Hazardous liquid chemical handling experience preferred
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
Apply process knowledge, equipment operation, and chemical safety practices as a VERBIO Diesel Canada Process Operator.
