American Iron & Metal is recruiting an experienced General Labourer for its Sault Ste. Marie location. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will maintain premises, handle non ferrous metals, and serve on site clients. Computer skills and safety awareness are key.
Key Responsibilities: Receive, sort, and organize non ferrous metals
Cover scales and weigh trucks when required
Track material accurately using the RECY system
Maintain premises and keep equipment in good condition
Operate forklifts and provide excellent client service
Requirements: Experience as a general labourer
Valuable computer skills
Metal recycling experience considered an asset
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather
Good physical fitness and teamwork ability
Bring maintenance, material handling, forklift operation, and customer service skills to American Iron & Metal’s recycling site.
