Support secondary students with literacy and numeracy development at Westside SS through scheduled after-school instruction. This part time assignment runs Mondays and Wednesdays.
The Upper Grand District School Board offers a non-credit-bearing support program for secondary school students. The Literacy and Numeracy Support Instructor helps students develop literacy and numeracy skills before or after the school day. The assignment is contingent upon enrollment and supports an existing vacancy at Westside SS.
Key Responsibilities: Support secondary students before or after the school day
Develop students' literacy skills through the support program
Develop students' numeracy skills through the support program
Provide non-credit-bearing academic support
Requirements: OCT qualifications will be considered an asset
Availability Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 to 4:30 PM
Ability to support secondary school students
Understanding of literacy and numeracy development
Apply literacy, numeracy, and student support skills as an Instructor serving secondary students at Westside SS.
