Apply combustion, HVAC, and plant equipment expertise as a Combustion Technician with Vale Base Metals in Sudbury, Ontario. This permanent role is on-site Monday to Friday.
Working within the Maintenance Department, the Combustion Technician operates and maintains Vale-owned facilities. The position covers scheduled and emergency repairs, installation, inspection, and preventative maintenance. Candidates need a TSSA-certified G1 license, while OBT1 or 313A credentials are preferred. Four or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Operate plant equipment and auxiliaries safely and efficiently
Maintain Vale-owned facilities and related equipment
Complete scheduled and emergency repairs, installations, and inspections
Perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergencies
Document work and report procedural deviations
Requirements: Grade 12 diploma and TSSA-certified G1 license
Four or more years of relevant experience preferred
Experience across all aspects of the HVAC trade
Industrial hot metal process equipment experience required
Valid Class G driver's license required
Use HVAC, combustion, and mechanical expertise to support protected facility maintenance at Vale Base Metals in Sudbury.
