Venor partners with Jost Vineyards, a pioneer in Nova Scotia’s wine industry since 1983. As Production Supervisor, you will oversee equipment setup, production startups, shutdowns, cleaning, and preparation. You will report to the Director of Operations while supporting quality, inventory, safety, and training.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, train, and support four production staff
Set up, start, and shut down production lines
Adjust canning settings for pressure, oxygen, and product specifications
Monitor quality, inspections, testing, and production issues
Maintain records, inventory, safety, and improvement initiatives
Requirements: Hands-on production or packaging experience
Experience training and mentoring production employees
Winery, brewery, beverage, or similar canning experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude and robust problem-solving skills
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and remain standing
