Deliver advanced emergency care as a Rural Advanced Care Paramedic with Emergency Health Services near Airdrie. Assess patients, administer medications, and provide ALS treatment.
This regular full time ACP assignment supports Calgary Division EMS's Rural Rover program. You will assess emergency scenes and patients, transport individuals, operate ambulances, and lead ALS clinical care when required. The work serves emergency scenes and transfers between facilities.
Key Responsibilities: Assess emergency scenes and patients
Transport ill or injured individuals between facilities
Administer medications and advanced airway adjuncts
Deliver electrical therapy and lead ALS teams
Stock and maintain transport units
Requirements: Non-restricted Alberta ACP registration in good standing
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification
Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence
Five-year driver abstract with no more than six demerits
Ability to perform full operational duties
Use advanced life support, patient assessment, and transport skills supporting Rural Rover emergency services around Airdrie.
