Apply ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and penetrant testing expertise with Echo NDE in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta field environments. Inspect critical components using approved procedures and applicable standards.
This NDT Technician performs UT, MT, and PT inspections for facility, pipeline, and industrial settings. The work includes equipment calibration, weld inspection, result evaluation, and field reporting. Technicians support clients, operations teams, and other technicians during project execution.
Key Responsibilities: Set up, calibrate, and operate UT, MT, and PT equipment
Perform surface and volumetric inspections using approved procedures
Inspect welds, piping, pressure equipment, and structural components




Interpret results against applicable acceptance criteria and communicate findings
Complete thorough, organized, timely field reports
Requirements: UT1 CGSB, MT2 CGSB, and PT2 CGSB certifications
Field inspection experience in oil and gas, pipeline, or industrial settings
Working knowledge of ASME, CSA, and applicable acceptance criteria
Valid driver’s license, clean abstract, and travel availability
Ability to work safely at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors
Bring certified UT, MT, and PT capabilities, careful evaluation, and explicit reporting to Echo NDE inspection projects.
