This Health and Safety Specialist maintains policies, monitors high-risk work, and supports protected construction operations. The position delivers WHMIS and Working at Heights training while investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions. Collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and clients is essential.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and enforce Health and Safety policies
Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
Monitor high-risk work and proper PPE use
Deliver WHMIS and Working at Heights orientations
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
Requirements: NCSO certification prioritized over other candidates
Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety
Three-plus years of construction safety experience
Knowledge of Ontario OHSA and COR programs
CRSP or NCSO, or progress toward certification, is an asset
Bring construction safety experience, NCSO knowledge, and OHSA expertise to strengthen compliance, training, and incident prevention.
