Lead MBVS slitting operations at Winpak’s fully onsite Winnipeg facility, applying safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement expertise.
Reporting to the Senior Extrusion Manager, the MBVS Slitting Supervisor manages MultiBarrier Slitting processes on a per-crew basis. This supervisor monitors performance, reinforces standard work, and supports department goals. The position emphasizes safety, quality, productivity, waste, training, housekeeping, and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities: Develop Zero Injuries culture through training and safety awareness
Monitor daily crew performance and update measurements regularly
Establish standard work and reinforce process procedures
Measure production progress against department targets




Improve Slitting equipment reliability with Maintenance support
Requirements: Grade 12 education; post-secondary education is an asset
Five or more years in a manufacturing workplace
One or more years using continuous improvement methodologies
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Availability for rotating twelve-hour day and night shifts
Use manufacturing supervision, process improvement, and safety leadership skills to strengthen Winpak’s MBVS Slitting performance in Winnipeg.
