Support play-based learning as an Assistant Educator in Tottenham, working fully in-centre at Upper Canada Child Care’s current location. Apply early childhood knowledge daily.
Upper Canada Child Care is recruiting Assistant Educators for Our Lady of Peace CES. This full-time position requires forty hours weekly, with eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday. You will support developmentally appropriate programs, apply Ministry of Education requirements, and help deliver positive learning experiences. The anticipated start date is mid-December 2026.
Key Responsibilities: Engage children through positive learning experiences
Assist with meals, toileting, diapering, and dressing
Apply legislative and program statement expectations
Document programs using charts, logs,



reports, and Storypark
Communicate with families, staff, schools, and agencies
Requirements: Recent Vulnerable Sector Check
Health assessment and legislated immunization records
Current CPR-C and Standard First Aid certification
Knowledge of children’s developmental needs
Ability to supervise children outdoors and perform physical tasks
Bring early childhood knowledge, communication, and play-based programming skills to Assistant Educator work in Tottenham’s fully in-centre setting.
