As a Saw Operator, you will select stock, transport materials, and cut sheet stock, bars, tubes, or lumber according to specifications. The work supports manufacturing across Savaria’s global facilities and markets.
Key Responsibilities: Review work orders, drawings, and blueprints for dimensions
Set up workstations with appropriate saw blades
Adjust guides, stops, tension, and blades using hand tools
Operate manual or automated saws with high precision
Return excess materials to shelves or scrap bins
Requirements: Ability to stand regularly and handle materials
Ability to reach, walk, and use hands
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds seldom
Ability to work around metal parts and vibration
