Own client billing and reconciliations as Finance Manager at Context Creative in Toronto, with hybrid in-office and remote work.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage day-to-day finance operations for a purpose-driven communications and design agency. Your work spans accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow reporting, month-end close, HST filings, and corporate tax instalments. You will partner with Client Partnership, Operations, and Project Management teams to keep billing accurate and projects financially aligned.
Key Responsibilities: Own monthly client billing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable
Reconcile prebills, accrued revenue, forecasts, and actual billing
Manage accounts payable and vendor payments accurately
Prepare weekly cash flow reporting and reconcile bank activity
Support month-end,



year-end close, audits, and financial requests
Requirements: Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
Around 7–9 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
Hands-on client billing and reconciliation experience in project-focused environments
Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP accounting systems
Solid Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, organization, and communication skills
Bring accurate billing, dependable reconciliations, and clear financial communication to Context Creative’s Toronto finance operations.
