Lead UX research at Closer using user interviews and usability testing to understand product needs. Work across teams on software serving Ontario and Alberta.
As an experienced UX Researcher reporting to the Head of UX Research, you will own initiatives from planning through execution. You will investigate behaviours, pain points, and needs through contextual research, interviews, and usability studies. Your insights will inform product decisions for Closer.
Key Responsibilities: Define research plans and hypotheses with the UX team
Design and lead customer research across product development
Aggregate data and communicate findings to cross-functional teams
Research competing solutions and share findings with product teams




Conduct usability tests with lawyers and clerks
Requirements: Degree in human-computer interaction, psychology, science, or related field
Experience with B2B SaaS or web-based software products
Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods
Experience with generative and evaluation research methodologies
Knowledge of research tools, practices, and processes
Apply UX research, contextual inquiry, and usability testing expertise to inform Closer’s product decisions for legal software users.
