This Dietary Aide position supports meal service in a Long-Term Care setting. You will follow standardized recipes and dietary guidelines, monitor food quality and safety, and respond to residents’ dietary needs. The role requires resident-centered service, infection prevention practices, and collaboration with dietary aides, PSWs, nurses, and other team members.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and serve meals using standardized recipes
Monitor food quality, safety, and public health compliance
Assist menu planning based on residents’ dietary needs
Maintain clean, organized kitchen and dining areas




Provide courteous, respectful service to residents and staff
Requirements: Required culinary background in a Long-Term Care facility
Recognized Ontario Food Service Worker Certificate
Current Food Handler Certificate and explicit Vulnerable Sector Check
Two-step TB Test and N95 Mask Fit Test
