Registered Dental Assistant needed in Edmonton for full time fixed-term work, supporting patient care, dental procedures, digital imaging, and infection control.
Westmount Dental Centre seeks a Registered Dental Assistant for a contract ending in May 2027. The practice provides comprehensive dental services seven days weekly, with shifts from 7 am to 2 pm or 2 pm to 9 pm, Monday through Friday and bi-weekly Saturdays. This position supports dentists, hygienists, and patients within a collaborative dental team.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
Assist dentists and hygienists during patient treatments
Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
Sterilize instruments and follow IPAC infection control standards




Update charts and support scheduling, patient flow, and administration
Requirements: Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant provincially
Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Ability to follow privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Ethical professional behaviour with strong patient relationships
Bring dental assisting, digital imaging, sterilization, and patient-care skills to Westmount Dental Centre’s Edmonton practice through May 2027.
