This non-ticketed Ice Maintenance Person performs regular ice flooding, edging, and general facility maintenance. The position supports safe, timely upkeep across rink and facility areas. Work includes janitorial duties, equipment checks, ice measurement, and repairs to arena components.
Key Responsibilities: Operate the Ice Resurfacer and edger safely
Measure, level, paint, chop, and spud ice
Repair dasher boards, arena glass, and hockey nets
Complete janitorial duties and established floor care procedures
Maintain clean, clear, and protected grounds and entrances
Requirements: Previous ice resurfacing equipment experience, training, and operation
Ability to work flexible evening and weekend hours
Approachable, team-oriented, and strong communication skills
Organized, self-motivated, and proactive work style
High school education and valid driver’s license preferred
