Build statistical forecasts from large datasets as a Junior Demand Analyst, using advanced Excel and Power Query to support demand planning.
This junior analyst maintains the data foundation behind forecasting for assigned products, distributed brands, and markets. You will cleanse demand history, run baseline models, and explain findings to non-technical audiences. The work supports Demand Planners and S&OP; with documented data, reports, and insights.
Key Responsibilities: Extract and validate sales, shipment, order, inventory, and product data
Build data tables, queries, and models supporting forecasting processes
Run baseline forecasts across products, brands, customers, and markets
Track forecast accuracy, bias, trends, and significant variances




Maintain Excel and Power BI reports on demand and data health
Requirements: One to three years working regularly with data, reports, or numbers
Advanced Microsoft Excel, including Power Query and pivot tables
Robust mathematical aptitude and comfort with large datasets
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to explain data findings clearly to non-technical audiences
Apply your Excel, statistical forecasting, and data analysis skills to strengthen reliable baselines for Demand Planning teams.
