Locations of Work: 27 MacDonald Road, Whitehorse, Yukon Territory

Wage: Final rate wage based on experience.

Terms of Employment : Seasonal, full-time, hours will vary depending on project requirements. Potential to be full time in the busy season (April to October)

Duties:

Drive crews to and from various projects in the Yukon.

Drive parts to and from various projects in the Yukon.

May be required to haul a trailer.

Drive on all types of road surfaces throughout the Yukon.

Ensuring and confirming all items are delivered in a timely manner to correct destinations.

Performing inspections on vehicles before driving.





Requirements include:

A valid driver's license (at least 3 years of experience driving) with a clean driving record.

3 years experience driving in all weather conditions.

Experience hauling trailers

Experience driving on all types of roads including highway, gravel and remote roads into camps.

Drug and alcohol free.

Basic mechanic and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to perform basic maintenance including tire changes in remote location.

Available on short notice and to work on weekends and in the evenings

Willingness to work additional hours in busy season (April to October) with less work during slower season (November to March)

Ability to respond quickly and safely as traffic conditions change.
