Lookout Housing and Health Society seeks a Homemaker reporting to the Site Manager. The position supports cleanliness and tidiness while following Lookout’s mission, philosophy, and Code of Ethics. Work includes resident rooms, shelter rooms, communal spaces, supplies, and personal care support.
Key Responsibilities: Clean rooms and change or make beds
Complete laundry and organize stocked supplies
Wash and disinfect rooms and communal areas
Organize donations and direct volunteers
Assist clientele with hygiene and nutrition as needed
Requirements: Grade 12 plus one year related experience, or equivalent
Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate
Ability to organize workload and work independently
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Clearance required
Bring cleaning, laundry, organization, and clear communication skills to support residents and communal spaces at Lookout.
