Level 1 Early Childhood Educator needed at Kepler Academy’s Cy Becker location, supporting children’s intellectual, physical, and emotional development.
This Early Childhood Educator leads programs from infant care through out-of-school care. You will plan activities, protect children’s well-being, assess progress, and communicate with families and staff. The role emphasizes child development, safety, and cooperative care.
Key Responsibilities: Develop child-care programs supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
Lead stories, songs, games, art, music, and physical activities
Maintain environments protecting children’s health, security, and well-being
Assess abilities, interests, needs, and progress with families




Observe learning concerns and prepare reports for families or supervisors
Requirements: Alberta Child Development Certificate, Level 1
Valid Standard Child Care or Level C First Aid certificate
Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check issued within six months
Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
Ability to lift children and equipment up to 50 pounds
Bring child development knowledge, creative communication, and safety-focused care to Kepler Academy’s Cy Becker childcare team.
