Support rail operations at Strathcona Resources’ Hamlin Facility near North Battleford, using safety awareness and equipment monitoring skills. This four-month student term begins in May 2027.
Student Rail Operators report to the Team Lead while gaining practical oil and gas industry experience. You will support rail equipment, facility activities, housekeeping, monitoring, routine maintenance, and operational troubleshooting. Collaboration with experienced operators supports learning about rail operations and facility processes.
Key Responsibilities: Support daily operation of assigned rail equipment
Assist with housekeeping and routine facility maintenance
Monitor equipment throughout facility activities
Troubleshoot operational challenges collaboratively with the team
Follow environmental, regulatory, and secure work requirements
Requirements: Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies
Returning to school in Fall 2027
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
Willingness to work outdoors and day or night shifts
Build practical rail operations knowledge through safety-focused equipment support at Strathcona’s Hamlin Facility near North Battleford.
