As a Physiotherapist on the interprofessional team, you will serve acute and subacute adult patients at Oak Valley Health's Markham site. Your work includes assessment, consultation, and education for patients, families, and colleagues. You will use a goal-oriented, client-centred approach while contributing to program development and quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Assess acute and subacute adult patients
Provide consultation and education to patients and families
Educate interprofessional team members
Support manual handling,



transfers, and ambulation
Participate in program development and quality improvement
Requirements: Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Two years' acute or subacute care experience
Current BLS certification
Experience with surgical, rehabilitation, and emergency populations
Critical thinking and discharge planning skills
Bring client-centred care, communication, and physiotherapy expertise to Oak Valley Health's acute and subacute adult services.
